These are just some of the ways that your generosity is changing lives....
- I'd like to take this time to thank you all for this wonderful organization. At My Bedside lifted many a burden for us this past week. My fiance and I welcomed our son, Caden, into the world 5 weeks early. We had an emergency c-section at our local hospital in Jackson, Mi. Caden was sent ahead of us to St. Joe's and I came flying the next day. We had no idea where we would stay, if we'd have the gas to get home, or even food to eat during the time we were here. We just wanted to get to him as fast as we could. At My Bedside is something we knew nothing about. As the few supplies we had started to run out, the panic set in. How would I be able to nurse our sick son if I had nothing to eat? Upon speaking to some lovely ladies in the case management dept. of St. Joe's, we were informed that there was help available. It brought me to tears to know that we not only had food for a couple more days but could also get a little gas to help us get home when the time came. I cannot thank then precious souls who donated and made it possible for us to survive this last week. I thank God for you all and just want to say that we thoroughly appreciate everything this organization does. It is a blessing for NICU parents. Thank you a million times over.
- My 7 year old son was diagnosed with leukemia in January 2013. One of the teachers at xxxxx middle school presented us with a Kroger gift card within weeks of diagnosis. At the time, my husband and I had been separated for only six weeks. I was learning what it was like to live on a single income and it wasn't fun. He was with us through everything the first week but we had no idea what was next.
We pulled together as a team and regained love and respect for each other once again. Since then the boys and I have moved back home and I believe xxxxx's cancer saved our marriage. What your organization is doing is remarkable and helped make the beginning of this journey more bearable. The fact that you help low income families brings to mind that time when I was a single mom who just found out her son has cancer. In a time like that finances should be the last thing on a parent's mind. With your help I was able to focus on my sick child.
This thank you is long overdue, but none the less sincere. Thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity. I would like to know how to make a donation to your organization so that I might help another single mom/dad in need.

- I just want to thank you for the gas gift card. My babies were born on Halloween and we're only 26 weeks. I also have a five year old at home so with work and her I can't stay with my boys everyday. And We live in 40 min away. So unfortunately I can't come see my boys everyday but with the gift I can at least see them every other. I honestly can't thank you guys enough. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!!!
- Thank you again, the gas cards they really help, my family struggles so much with our money, but with the gas cards provided from you wonderful people, it allows me to make my trips home to get ready for my baby to come home, and it allows my family members to come see my son. The gas cards are very helpfully to me and my family, we struggle with others things as well but with the gas cards that makes one less struggle for us, because without the gas cards i really would not be able to go back and forth to get ready for him to come home, so thank you once again for providing the gas cards for families like mine who struggle and myself as well they are so helpful to me and other families, so i really thank you for helping me out.
- I want to thank you from the bottom of me and my fiance heart! You help provide meals and gas in the course of us experiencing having a preemie at 23 weeks for the first time.
